Couple of sweet sounds for you

First, Big Boi (one half of Outcast, duh) is back! He is releasing some heaters off of his newest album, Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors. I thought I would share some with you. The album is out now, so check out some of the singles that have appeared online and buy it. While we're on the subject of Outcast, next is a remix by Jean Tonique. He has remixed Ms. Jackson and it's interesting. The remix is pretty solid, but I'll leave you to judge. Finally, is a remix of the Fugees' Ready or Not, it's remixed by Vancouver DJs Wood n' Soo. New Directions (Sorry, Not the Band)

Dear Internets,

I've decided to take a new direction with my blog. Well, just starting a new aspect of it. You're still going to get those sweet musics that I post at random times with no rhyme or reason, so don't fret. The thing I want to start doing is making food, sometimes healthy, sometimes glutenous, but always (hopefully) delicious.

The premise being, I see a photo of food and I'm going to try and recreate it. No recipes, just making up as I go (this could get expensive). If you like it, make it. I'll post the picture of the food, then the recipe below it. I encourage you to post responses and tell me how you like the food that I've tried to make. I'll even throw in some different styles of what I make (if it warrants it). So, I say unto you, enjoy. Later, when I start to figure this out I'll start to post videos of the thought process and the making process, which, should be entertaining.

I've Got Something For Youuuuu...

This time around, it's more relaxed around the B.Good Headquarters (me, at a desk, drinking coffee, thinking I'm important *shuffles paper*). Below I have some swell remixes for you. First up is Mayer Hawthorne, he has released remixes from his current album How Do You Do? The best part is, you can get this album fo' free! Click on his name, and it will take you where you want to go.

Second is Architecture in Helsinki's version of Need You Now by Cut Copy. It's pretty solid and slow. Unfortunately, unlike Mayer, you can't get this for free. So, I guess, enjoy from the comforts of your computer chair, modular device or wherever you crazy kids do it these days.

Couple of tracks for your listening pleasure. First up is G-Easy ft. Hoodie Allen, the track: "Lady Killer". This track is off of G-Easy's new ablum dropping on Sept. 26. If it's as good as this track, I'm picking it up.

On a side note, I'm totally cool with him being my cab driver, just no cake to the face. I'm cool with it if he wanted to serve to me with a plate and a fork. Wait, who am I kidding? If I got into a cab with him driving, I'm at the point of the night where I can cake in a napkin without fork! WOOO, I'm living on the edge!!! (watch video to get cake reference)

Dear readers (at this point, it's probably just me),

It's been awhile, you should check out these musics. You will like them. Something cool about the Madeon minimix, it uses around 95 songs (give or take a few, I got lazy counting) to make the beat. How cool is that? Enjoy.

I love NES

I love the NES, maybe a little too much. I still have mine, and it still works. I still play the games I have, like Super Mario 3 and, in this case, Zelda. So, imagine how stoked I was when I found a song that used a lot of the soundtrack and noises from Zelda. I was ecstatic! I just wanted to pass on some sweet beats to you. Maybe your indie cred will jump up? Mine hasn't, in fact, I think it has just decreased because I used the words "indie cred". Anyway, enough about cred and on to the reason why I think you look at my blogs: music (and to a lesser extent, to laugh at my expense).

First up is therapper/singer Frank Ocean. He's got an awesome song titled Novacane that I have inserted for your eargasm pleasure. Also included is his newest single Swim Good. John Mayer, who's voice has been sidelined with a granuloma, he's canceled his tour and postponed the release of his upcoming album Born and Raised. However, it hasn't stopped him from using those sweet, sweet guitar skills. He just let this little covered nugget out into the internet wild, Lana Del Ray's Video Games.
