Zeros

I know this band has been out for awhile, but sometimes, I just like to reminisce about some of the songs that Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros have done.

"40 Days" - Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros

"Jangalin" - Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros

harmonize hauntingly

So, here is an all female group that strikes my fancy. I think the thing I like most about them is their ability harmonize hauntingly. It is really wonderful. Enjoy Warpaint.

"Billie Holiday" - Warpaint

Cat's Eyes are for fun

I'm really digging this track, you should listen. Remember, sharing is caring.

"Over You" - Cat's Eyes

Hugo

New musics people. Hugo, from across the pond, released an album in 2011 titled Old Tyme Religion. If you like folk with a little mix of rock, this guy is for you. Interesting fact: Hugo is signed to Jay-Z's label. He has also taken the time to cover "99 Problems" (see below). Needless to say, it's bad ass.

Slow down and hipsters.

These two artists always remind me of summer. First is Kings of Convenience and their music makes me think of lazy summer days. Here's a song off of their latest release, Declaration of Dependence(2009).

"Mrs. Cold" - Kings of Convenience

Second is The Drums. Great band, bunch of hipsters if you ask me. They have a great sound. This single is off of their album Portamento(2011).

"Money" - The Drums

-Music-

Hallelujah, that's the name of a single off of The Helio Sequence's album, Keep Your Eyes Ahead, released in '08. The album as a whole isn't that bad either, check them out below.
