It's that time of year when all of the ghosts, goblins, and zombies all come out at night to...ask for candy. Yay, candy, who doesn't like candy?
Since I am getting older for one reason or another I keep finding it harder and harder to get excited for this non-holiday. It used to be that all you would have to say is "candy" and "dress-up". I would be in costume and possibly character (once when I was younger, I was Batman for a solid two weeks) for practically the whole month. These days, however, it takes my mind a little bit more convincing.
It involves movies, well mostly two movies. The movies in question are, in my opinoin, masterpieces, the first more than the last. They gave me laughs and great one liners, and, more importantly (for this blog anyway) gets me in the mood for All Hallows Eve. Ghostbusters 1 & 2, these are the two movies that always give me the Halloween mood.
So, now I ask you, what gets you in the Halloween mood?
